The Funky Monkeys
Since 2015, we have brought people together to share moments of wonder and laughter.
With acrobatics and urban dance, we perform throughout Germany and internationally, bringing plenty of energy to the stage. Our accolades include silver at the renowned Monte Carlo Circus Festival and four further awards.
With the Show Waiters, we bring this experience right among your guests: surprising, personal and without a traditional stage setting.

Your questions. Our service.
Do we need a stage or lots of space?
No. A stage is not needed, and the space required is small. Our professional performers play right among your guests and, depending on the setting, directly at the table: in a restaurant, hotel or your event venue. We agree on routes, seating and suitable performance areas with you beforehand. Our aim: wide eyes, steady glasses.
What determines the price?
The date, location, cast, number of appearances and travel requirements determine the price. You receive a tailored, non-binding proposal.
What cast sizes and performance times can we book?
Choose Small with 2 performers, Standard with 4 performers, or a large-scale production with 6–9 performers at the same time. A walking-act set lasts 15–30 minutes; up to 3 appearances per day or evening are possible.
Do our guests have to participate?
No. Guests are welcome to join in, but they can just as happily stay seated at their tables and enjoy the entertainment.
Does the act interrupt dinner or service?
We agree routes, timing and intensity with your event team in advance. If there is a dinner or service schedule, we take it into account when planning.

What are comedy waiters or undercover waiters?
Comedy waiters initially appear in service attire before surprising the guests with a performance. Show Waiters by The Funky Monkeys combine comedy, acrobatics and urban dance right among the guests at corporate events, hotel evenings and dinner events.
Do we need our own service staff for the act?
No. The Show Waiters act does not require you to provide service staff. If a service team is present, we include them when coordinating the schedule.
Can we book you internationally and for multilingual audiences?
Yes. Show Waiters are available for events in Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Liechtenstein and Luxembourg, as well as other countries beyond the German-speaking region. We can put together a team with the language skills your event needs: German, English, French, Spanish, Italian and Japanese. Let us know which languages your guests speak, and we will agree on a suitable line-up with you. The performance also works without words: acrobatics and dance are a universal language.
Does it work alongside a band, DJ or stage programme?
Yes. The act takes place among your guests and can complement a reception, dinner or transition to the party.
Does it work in a restaurant or hotel?
Yes, for suitable dinner events, banquets and special guest evenings. Together, we check which spaces and time slots work.
